SYNOPSIS
For the three months since his father's death on the last lap of the Daytona 500, Cole Jackson, Jr. has been taking a break from stock car racing by finishing his dad's passion project: converting an old barn to a bar and stage for local musicians. Now Junior has one day left to decide whether to give up his seat in the Number 8 or return to the sport they both loved so much. On the bar's opening night, as he hears The Junkyard Dogs perform a series of NASCAR-themed songs, Junior imagines his eight year-old self having one last conversation with his dad about being a son, being a father, and chasing eternity at Daytona.
